Our onsite dental technician, Kiyotaka Takagi, has been with us for more than 20 years. Takagi has been specializing in telescope system dentures under Shigeru Inaba (current advisor) at Inaba Dental Office ever since it was located in Dentsuin, Bunkyo Ward.
He is a veteran dental technician who had made more than 2,000 dentures for our patients. One of the merits of the telescope system is that once a set of dentures are made, they can continue to be used for a long time with slight adjustments. But during the very few times when patients need to come in for adjustments, Takagi quickly remembers the patient's face.
His specialty is German telescope system dentures
Takagi specializes in German telescope system dentures. It takes time to make a set of telescope system dentures, but they are well worth the wait.
Onsite dental technician, Kiyotaka Takagi, tells us that he likes working on full jaw Riegel telescope dentures the best because it is easy to make the colors and shapes on his own and he feels a real sense of satisfaction in his work when they are done.
He was taught directly by Dr. Inaba Shigeru directly about the telescope system which the doctor brought back from Germany. This is the so-called orthodox version of the technology. Currently, he is also a demonstration lecturer for the IPSG Society.
The doctors are very relieved to have him on staff and leave all of the craftsmanship concerning patients' teeth in his hands.
